OLD HOME DREAM

I am wandering around in my old neighborhood in the town where I grew up, looking for my house. It is late at night and I can't find my way. Finally, I arrive at the house but the front door is locked. I try each of my keys but none of them work. I am at the point of despair.

Suddenly I remember the back door and so I rush around to that door and find that was already open. I go in and everything is just as I remembered it. No one is there but nothing has changed. Yet something is odd here. I can't put my finger on it. In the closets I see there are no clothes; the refrigerator is empty, too. I sit down to gather my thoughts and begin to plan to go shopping to buy new clothes and food so I can live here again. As I sit there alone I am suddenly startled to hear the telephone ring. Who could know I am there? But somehow I know the call is for me. As I reach to pick up the phone, I wake up.
